Organizational misconduct has become the focus of much management research in the last decades. Despite this relevance, cross-level analysis on organizational misconduct remains scarce. Relatedly, misconduct in networks is a topic that has yielded rich insights, but there is not enough research looking at misconduct in the networks of collaborative and competitive organizational relationships. More work is needed to understand the mechanisms and consequences of misconduct beyond the organization. The goal of the symposium is to showcase a set of papers that emphasize cross-level mechanisms and consequences of organizational misconduct, using advanced methodological tools in diverse contexts.

    Presentations:

    Modeling misconduct contagion in organizations

    Maziar Nekovee, U. of Sussex
