    Dear Colleagues:

We invite you to join us for the 2019 New Directions in Leadership Research Conference (NDLR), as a participant (with a non-presenting role). The conference will be held on June 20-21 at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, USA.

The NDLR Conference is co-organized by the Fuqua/Coach K Center on Leadership and Ethics (COLE) at Duke University, the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) at Erasmus University, INSEAD, and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  The conference brings together key researchers in the field of leadership and researchers that would not typically consider themselves leadership researchers but whose work has important implications for our understanding of leadership. In doing so, it presents a diverse and stimulating set of perspectives intended to advance the leadership field. By keeping the meeting small and informal –23 presenting and no more than 40 delegates – the conference is able to create an intimate and highly interactive atmosphere that allows participants to optimally benefit from this diversity of perspectives. www.ndlrconference.org

The conference will begin on Thursday, June 20 at 8:00 AM and end with an informal lunch on Friday, June 21 at 12:30PM. There will be a registration fee to partially cover the conference costs (conference materials, lunches, breaks and one dinner). Participants will need to cover the cost of their hotel accommodation, and air and ground transportation.

Please note that we only have a limited number of slots for non-presenters as we want to maintain the intimate atmosphere of the conference. We would appreciate if you could let Tejumade Ajasa, COLE Assistant Director, know if you are able to participate by April 15, 2019 (tajasa@duke.edu). Once we have received your intent to participate, we'll send you additional details, including registration fee and link, and hotel reservation details.

We hope you'll join us for this novel and generative research conference on leadership and ethics.

    Best Regards,
