Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania invites applications for an Instructor to teach graduate and undergraduate Management courses. Faculty members are required by contract to engage in continuing scholarly development, academic advising, as well as performing department and university service.
A Ph.D degree in Strategic Management or a closely related area with substantial graduate level coursework in strategic management. Successful performance in an interview, including a teaching demonstration, is required. Commitment to the education of diverse populations, perceived ability to work productively with students and colleagues, and engagement in appropriate research endeavors is required. A.B.D. considered if dissertation defense is scheduled.
Preference to candidates with teaching and research interests in one or more of the following areas: Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship. Preference also given candidates with a doctoral degree from a AACSB accredited institution.
