    POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

    Department of Management
     
    The Department of Management of the University of Cincinnati's Lindner College of Business is seeking applications for three tenure-track faculty positions in the area of Strategy or Organizational Behavior that are open rank and begin in Fall 2018. The selected candidates will teach and conduct research related to their discipline, and must have completed the doctorate in the appropriate discipline (Strategy or Organizational Behavior) or a related field from an AACSB accredited university prior to starting this position.  
     
    The Department has a strong commitment to quality research and teaching. Selected candidates must demonstrate focused and productive research programs, including a research pipeline reflecting various stages. An example of an expected pipeline would be at least one publication and at least one other work in progress (e.g., a paper under review at a journal or a working paper in progress but not yet submitted). In addition, they must be capable of teaching in undergraduate and/or graduate programs, which is demonstrated by a record of assisting with (e.g., lecturing, grading) or independently teaching at least one course in Management or a related area at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Our degree programs are fully accredited by the AACSB. The Department has 11 full-time faculty members in Organizational Behavior, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. Faculty members are actively engaged in research and have published in the leading management journals, among them: Academy of Management JournalAcademy of Management ReviewHarvard Business ReviewJournal of Applied PsychologyJournal of ManagementJournal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Organizational Research Methods, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal. The Department is closely connected with two active University centers that provide faculty with opportunities for research data collection and networking: The Center for Entrepreneurship & Commercialization and the Goering Center for Family & Private Business.
     
    The College enrolls approximately 4000 undergraduates, 902 master's students (includes online) and 45 doctoral students. The College is part of a comprehensive research institution that is the second largest state university in Ohio, with a total enrollment of approximately 44,000 students.
