The Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University is seeking qualified applicants for the doctoral program in Management. Students in the Ph.D. program will be offered advanced levels of study and opportunities to engage in high-quality research in several fields of specialization.
Our faculty members come from major research universities, such as Wisconsin, Iowa, Ohio State, Michigan, Colorado. The faculty conducts research in organization behavior, organization theory, entrepreneurship, and strategy. Their work has appeared in the premiere journals of the field, including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, and Journal of Management. In addition, faculty serve as editors and on editorial boards of the most influential journals in the field.
Doctoral students are taught, mentored, and collaborate with a research-active Management faculty including John Blair, Kim Boal, Keith Brigham, Claudia Cogliser, William Gardner, Jerry Hunt, Linda Krefting, Barry Macy, Ron Mitchell, Bob Phillips, Ritch Sorenson, Chris Quinn-Trank, and Carlton Whitehead.
Most doctoral students have assistantships that provide financial support and qualify them for lower, in-state tuition rates. In addition, stipends are available through Rawls scholarships, which are awarded competitively to doctoral students showing exceptional potential.
