Writers' Workshop
The 13th annual International Conference on Advances in Management, which will be held at Lisbon, Portugal on July 19-22, will arrange this workshop on July 19 (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM).
The workshop will help faculty write papers for publication in scholarly journals and in our annual Series--Current Topics in Management. The workshop will cover:
1. Formulation of hypotheses and creative ways to improve measures of variables which are free from common method variance and social desirability responding.
2. Data analysis with SPSS-PC (Exploratory factor analysis, Pearson correlations, Cronbach alpha, & Regression analysis)
3. Data analysis with SPSS-PC & LISREL (Hierarchical regression analysis, Confirmatory factor analysis, & Structural equations models)
If you want to attend this workshop, you will be required to pre-register (Registration fee, $50) for it and bring your laptop with SPSS and LISREL and the data file and questionnaires that you receive from us. (There will be no walk-in registration for this workshop.) We will use PowerPoint presentations to show step-by-step analysis of our data and results. We will also show you how to report results in your paper that you want to submit to a scholarly journal for review.
Although Writers' Workshop is for the doctoral students, new faculty, and consultants, but this workshop will be very useful for senior scholars.
