  • 1.  Does anybody know about strategic planning software?

    Posted 12-16-2005 09:38
    Dear All, (Apologies for cross-posting)

I am aware that some companies use various customized
software to support their strategic planning process.
Does anybody know what the common brands are, have any
idea about their effectiveness or know where I can
access this information? In particular, has anyone
done research into this software or is anyone aware of
    any published studies about it?

    Thanks for your help

    Paula:

    H. Igor Ansoff developed Ansplan. As you may know, Ansoff's model has been
    validated in over 1200 studies.

I've developed a variant of the Ansoff model (a mini-model) that I used for
my research for my book What's Your Corporate IQ?

I'd be willing to allow you to test the corporate IQ computation on a few
    companies if you'd like.

The correlation on the high performance companies (and low performance
companies) using the CIQ model was extremely high.

Let me know if that would be helpful.
