    Management and Organization – Innovation and Entrepreneurship Position


    The Management and Organization Department at the University of Washington
    (Seattle) invites applications from qualified candidates for a full-time
    tenured/tenure-track position in Innovation and Entrepreneurship beginning in
    2008. Applicants at the assistant, associate, or full levels will be
    considered. For new graduates, a PhD must be completed or near completion. We
    seek candidates who have an active program of research and teaching in
    technology and innovation, and entrepreneurship and who have the potential to
    perform well in the executive and master’s classroom. Salary is extremely
    competitive. Applications must be received no later than November 1. Please
    send your current vita, three letters of recommendation, a sample publication,
    and /or working paper, and evidence of teaching effectiveness.

    The University of Washington is located in Seattle and is consistently ranked
    as one of the top three research universities in the world in terms of grant
    monies received. The Business School is well known for its MBA program, as well
    as undergraduate and PhD and Executive programs. In addition, Seattle is a
    beautiful place to live with outstanding opportunities for both cultural and
    recreational activities. It also has a vibrant business community with
    organizations like Amazon, Starbucks, Realnetworks, Boeing, Microsoft and
    Weyerhaeuser having close and important ties to the University and the Business
