We are in the process of reviewing the final year in our executive MBA program.  Has anyone come across examples of a course that is designed around the typical problems a general manager faces.  A bit more context:  Students in this program take functional courses before the final year. The final year, which we run as 18 full day of residential sessions, are dedicated to preparing students for the general manager role, that is to integrate across functions and take a holistic view. Presently we have organized the year around strategy formulation (9 days) and strategy implementation (9 days) but we are rethinking this approach.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards, Peter
