The Department of Management at the University of Massachusetts is seeking applicants for a tenure track position in strategic management beginning September 2008. The position is at the assistant professor level; experienced assistants are welcome to apply. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Management or a related field with a specialization in strategic management and capabilities for strong scholarly research and teaching. Applicants should provide: (1) a vita summarizing education, publication record, service, and professional experience, (2) samples of scholarly writing, (3) a list of courses taught, syllabi and teaching evaluations, and (4) three letters of reference. The deadline for applying is January 21st, 2008, but applications will be accepted until a suitable candidate is found.
