I am teaching an undergrad second semester senior year capstone class next semester and was told that the athletic footwear industry simulation (multi week) is appropriate for seniors (vs MBA's). I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have run into a number of other simulations via a google search and found a few suggested in the archives, but not this one.<rte_text></rte_text>

Also is anyone has any other suggestions of good simulations I would appreciate it. I haven't used one of these before and am looking for one that is hosted by server of the simulation publisher as I won't be permitted to install anything on the lab computers.

If any simulation is best paired with a particular book (I prefer one with cases so that additional cases don't need to be purchased) I'd appreciate hearing about this as well.

    Thank you,
    Carolyn Birmingham

    Hi Carolyn,

I am introducing GloBus from McGraw Hill in the coming semester. Also CapSim is another web based alternative which is highly recognized. You could just contact your McGraw Hill rep for the first one. Cap Sim is an independent company.

    Carolyn,

This is either GLO-BUS or BSG (business strategy game) - I can't remember which off the top of my head. Here's some more info.

Please visit the Web site www.mhhe.com/thompsonsims to learn more and to see what you colleagues are saying.

If you should have further questions about the product please feel free to contact Greg Stappenbeck at greg@glo-bus.com or your McGraw-Hill/Irwin sales representative.

Carolyn, please go to www.bsg-online.com.  This is the website that delivers the athletic footwear simulation.  I am the lead author, so please let me know if I can be on assistance.
