This is an opportunity for a research associate in strategy at an exceptional UK research-led management school. LUMS is one of only two UK schools to achieve the top research rating in three successive Research Assessment Exercises over a decade and a half. The candidate will work as part of the Lancaster Centre for Strategic Management alongside Julia Balogun, The Professor Sir Roland Smith Chair in Strategic Management and Director of the Centre. The role involves developing research which explores radical restructuring and strategic change in European operations of international organizations, to deliver publications in high profile journals.
Candidates should hold, or be close to completing, a PhD in a relevant field, with an interest in strategy development and strategic change. Experience of qualitative research is required and knowledge of discourse / narrative approaches is desirable. Candidates should also have strong communication and project management skills.
