    Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) invites applications for tenure-track positions in Management at the ranks of Assistant to Full Professor beginning August 2010.  Rensselaer’s Business School, the Lally School of Management & Technology, has a commitment to education and research that advances understanding of and constructive contribution to innovation, entrepreneurship, and to global business and the political economy.

     

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    Ph.D. in a field of management, or near completion, from a program with a strong research orientation is expected. Priority will be given to those applicants with expertise and interest in organizational behavior, organizational theory, operations management, strategic management, or international business Applicants are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching and research ability. We are especially interested in applicants who will contribute to our strong cross-disciplinary research and teaching culture. Candidates should possess a strong commitment to publishing scholarly research in high quality academic journals, demonstrating superior teaching at the undergraduate and master levels, and actively advising doctoral students. Salary and fringe benefits are competitive. This position is subject to budget approval.
