    JOURNAL OF MANAGEMENT CALL FOR PROPOSALS REVIEW ISSUES

    The editorial team of the Journal of Management would like to invite
    authors to submit proposals for the three upcoming Review Issues (please
    see the three attached call for proposals for more details):

    1. Walking New Avenues in Management Research Methods and Theories:
    Bridging Micro and Macro Domains

    Guest Editors: Herman Aguinis, Brian Boyd, Chuck Pierce, and Jeremy Short
    Proposals will be accepted only between November 15 and December 31, 2008

    2. Resource-Based Theory: Twenty Years of Accomplishments and Future
    Challenges

    Guest Editors: Jay Barney, Dave Ketchen, and Mike Wright
    Proposals will be accepted only between March 1 and April 1, 2009

    3. General Call for Proposals for Journal of Management Review Issue

    Editor: Talya Bauer
    Proposals will be accepted only between June 1 and July 1, 2009

    In general, submissions will be evaluated with respect to the following
    criteria:

    (a) Relevance. The proposed manuscript should thoroughly review a
    significant and important research area within the organizational sciences.

    (b) Viability. The proposal should represent an achievable project
    within the tight time constraints required.

    (c) Scope of Interest. Papers of broad interest to scholars in a variety
    of specialty areas are greatly preferred.

    (d) Organization and Coherence. The proposal should follow a logical
    structure, read clearly, and thoroughly represent the available research.

    (e) Insight for Future Work. The proposal should convey important
    implications for future management scholars.

    All proposals may be submitted electronically to
    http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/jom during the submission windows noted
    above.

    Due to editorial constraints, it is vital for authors to adhere to the
    strict timeline specified in the call for proposals. We will not be able
