We are pleased to announce the inaugural Duke Strategy Conference to be held at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Duke</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype></st1:place> on April 4th and 5th running from noon on Friday until 4:00pm on Saturday. The conference will feature a novel format with the dual goals of both developing rigorous academic research and identifying the practical business and/or policy implications of the research. The conference will feature five two-hour sessions each centered around a broad strategic topic. Each session will feature three research papers presented by academic discussants followed by a Q&A session kicked off by the paper's author. Following the three papers, a leading business practitioner will reflect on both the practical implications of the academic research in the session as well as identify interesting open questions that future research might investigate.
