ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MANAGEMENT

The College of Business and Management at Saginaw Valley State University, an AACSB accredited institution, invites applications for a tenure-track position in management, preferably at the assistant professor level.  Primary teaching responsibilities will be in strategic management.  We emphasize the blending of academic and applied knowledge through project based learning.  The ability to teach undergraduate and MBA courses effectively is required. 

Minimum qualifications: 

·         Ph.D. in strategic management or related discipline.

·         ABD within one year of degree completion will be considered.

·         Interest in developing management curriculum reflecting current and future trends.

·         An active portfolio of intellectual contributions.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Ph.D. in strategic management

·         Interest in developing management curriculum reflecting current and future trends.

·         Evidence of recent research and publication activity.

·         The ability to teach undergraduate and MBA courses effectively.
