Final Program Announcement
INFORMS College on Organization Science
Fall 2006 "Conference in a Conference"
We are pleased to announce the final agenda for this year's conference with sessions co-coordinated by Linda Argote (Carnegie-Mellon), Amit Nigam (U. of Toronto) and Klaus Weber (Northwestern U.). The conference will kick off with a session chaired by Linda Argote (Editor-in-Chief, Organization Science) providing insights on the journal's current status and future directions. Senior Editor Rich Burton (Duke U.) will also provide valuable insights in this session for ensuring a successful publishing experience. The next three sessions focus on the overall theme of Culture, Institutions and Strategy. Amit Nigam and Klaus Weber have put together a wonderful set of papers on cultural pragmatics, micro-institutions, as well as language and culture.
The program can be accessed online (inc. abstracts and titles) and is held one day following the Organization Science Dissertation Proposal Competition: https://informs.emeetingsonline.com/emeetings/formbuilder/clustersessionlist.asp?clnno=1017&mmnno=154
