    The Department of Management and Global Business, RUTGERS BUSINESS SCHOOL-Newark and New Brunswick, is seeking applications and nominations for a one-year visiting faculty position in Strategy for the academic year 2007-08. The position could be at the level of assistant, associate or full professor.

     

    <st1:place w:st="on">Rutgers</st1:place> is one of the oldest and most distinguished universities in the country. <st1:placename w:st="on">Rutgers</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Business</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype> and the Department of Management and Global Business have many world-renowned scholars. Areas of specialty in the department include the management of innovation and technology, international business, and diversity and cross-cultural management.

     

    We seek a visitor whose work will complement that of our department and who may benefit from a visiting year at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Rutgers</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Business</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype></st1:place>. The applicant for this position will be expected to teach courses in Strategy or related fields during the academic year. At the junior level, we seek candidates with potential for high-quality research and teaching in Strategy and related areas.  Preference will be given to candidates with evidence of research productivity and teaching experience. At the senior level, we seek candidates whose work has earned recognition nationally and internationally, and whose accomplishments involve successful collaboration with peers and scholarly development of junior colleagues and doctoral students.

     

    Interested candidates should send electronic versions of their CV and three letters of reference. For A.B.D. applicants, we also would like a summary of their dissertation.     The Department of Managerial Sciences at the Robinson College of Business has an opening for a visiting faculty member to teach strategic management at the undergraduate level during the coming academic year.  Individuals who might be interested in this position would include, but not be limited to, doctoral students who are ABD and looking for opportunities to enhance their teaching portfolios, individuals whose timing was off and who missed the job market this year but have graduated and are looking for opportunities to support themselves during the next hiring cycle, or individuals further along in the tenure-track or in their careers who are looking for opportunities to remain active in the profession as they contemplate their next move. 

     

    The position includes a 3/3 (single prep) teaching load, private office and full department staff support.  Employment will begin in mid-August 2014 and run through mid-May 2015.  There may be opportunity to continue teaching through summer 2015 for additional compensation.  The department anticipates hiring for multiple positions in strategy during the coming year and visitors with completed PhDs, or who will have completed their PhDs by August 2015, will be welcome to apply.
