This ½ day professional development workshop builds on last year's Showcase Symposium on set-theoretic methods by offering a practical introduction to working with set-theoretic methods (STMs), and particularly with two popular software packages, QCA and fs/QCA. The workshop brings together a number of international scholars with extensive experience working with set-theoretic approaches to demonstrate how STMs can be successfully applied to a variety of management and strategy topics. It is designed to provide participants with an introduction to this methodology as well as offer practical advice for those already working with STMs and to create opportunities for exchange and collaboration among an emerging group of scholars.
