    Tenure-Track Position

    Strategy and Global Management Area

     

    The Haskayne School of Business is seeking a qualified candidate for a tenure-track position (at the rank of Assistant/Associate) responsible for teaching basic and advanced courses in corporate strategy, with emphasis in energy and natural resources contexts, at the undergraduate, MBA and Executive Management levels; conducting research on how energy, natural resources, and global sustainability issues affect the conduct of business enterprises; and working with students, faculty, and executives to incorporate energy and natural resources issues into the School's curriculum.
     
    The successful candidate for this position, which would include an appointment in the Strategy and Global Management Area (SGMA) within the School, would also join an emerging group of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Calgary</st1:placename></st1:place> faculty engaged in developing the Institute for Sustainable Energy, Environment and Economy (ISEEE). ISEEE aims to become one of the world's premier research centers for the development and commercialization of new energy technologies. The interdisciplinary work conducted at ISEEE recognizes the fundamental connection between business success, environmental quality, and social progress (www.iseee.ca). Anticipated starting date is July 1, 2007 (or earlier).
