The first describes some analysis by Mark Edwards on "effective" royalty rates in licensing transactions, both across time and across different types of alliances. It also gives some useful information about how Recap compiles its data.
The second (just yesterday) describes the recent trends in biotech financing - via alliances, VC, and public markets - and also contains some interesting information about how Recap distinguishes between platform and product biotech companies.
