Following this year's Capability Conference, I would like to hereby invite you for a follow-up Conference on "Micro-Level Origins of Organizational Routines and Capabilities" which is organized around a Special Issue in the Journal of Management Studies. It will take place on June 19-20, 2010 and be organized at a castle near downtown Helsinki, Finland. Please note that the conference dates precede the DRUID Conference which is organized from June 16-18, 2010.
The conference features the following key note speakers: Michael Cohen (University of Michigan), Nicolai Foss (Copenhagen Business School), Geoffrey Hodgson (University of Hertfordshire),Tammy Madsen (Santa Clara University), Maurizio Zollo (Bocconi). Linda Argote (Carnegie Mellon) has also expressed her interested to contribute. As mentioned, the conference is associated with the Journal of Management Studies' Special Issue on 'Micro-Level Origins of Organizational Routines and Capabilities' (submission deadline November 30, 2009). Authors that receive an R&R for their paper submission will be invited to present. Should you wish to participate without having submitted to the Special Issue, please send an email to the conference organizers (teppo@byu.edu or Juha-Antti.Lamberg@tkk.fi) by February 15, 2010. Beyond the key note speeches, the conference program will feature presentations by papers given an R&R and sessions to ensure extensive interaction and in-depth discussions on the conference theme.
