    ...and others.

The purpose of this conference is to bring together scholars to discuss the "micro-level origins of organizational routines and capabilities." Specifically, the focus of the conference is on the individual-level (beliefs, preferences, expectations, or abilities, characteristics) and aggregational (social interactional dynamics) factors that play a central role in the origins of organizational routines and capabilities. We encourage work from different theoretical and empirical traditions.

This conference is associated with a Journal of Management Studies (JMS) special issue (co-editors Nicolai Foss, Koen Heimeriks, Tammy Madsen and Teppo Felin --- see http://www.blackwellpublishing.com/pdf/joms_cfp0409.pdf). Please note that the JMS submission deadline is November 30, 2009. Authors that receive an R&R for their paper submission(s) will be invited to the conference. However, submission for the special issue is not necessary for conference attendance. If you are interested in attending or presenting, please send the conference organizers an email by February 15, 2010.

To ensure opportunities for fruitful interaction, the conference size will be limited to 50 attendees.
