The Department of Management in Silberman College of Business at Fairleigh
Dickinson University is accepting applications for a tenure-track position
in Management at the Assistant Professor rank, with an August 2010 start
date. Silberman College has AACSB-accredited undergraduate and MBA
programs.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in a Management-related field from an AACSB
accredited institution (or ABD nearing completion of dissertation) with
evidence of or potential for high quality teaching and research. The
successful candidate will be expected to teach primarily strategic
management. An interest and experience in teaching healthcare or
pharmaceutical management would be a significant advantage. The normal
teaching load is 9 credit hours per semester. Salary and benefits are
competitive with AACSB accredited institutions.
Fairleigh Dickinson, founded in 1942, is a private, coeducational
university with an enrollment of more than 11,000 undergraduate and
graduate students from throughout the United States and the world. The
Metropolitan Campus is located 10 miles from the heart of New York City,
and the College of Florham Campus is located 35 miles from New York City
near historic Morristown, New Jersey. The University has overseas campuses
in Wroxton, England and Vancouver, British Columbia. Silberman College of
Business, with about 1900 students on its New Jersey campuses, regularly
partners with the NJ and NYC business community in delivering globally-
