The Institute of Management, People and Information at the Department of Business Administration and Economics, University of Passau, Germany, has multiple openings for post-doc-positions in Management, Organization, People and Information.
The Department gives high priority to research at an international level, and members of the Department focus on ranked international research outlets, a high share of external research funding and international network cooperation.
The Department has seen persistent growth in terms of both faculty members and research output over the past years. The Department offers excellent research facilities, with ample opportunities for conference participation and international collaboration. The successful applicant is expected to contribute to the Department’s strong track record in research, teaching and internationalization.
Candidates should have a completed doctoral degree in a related area (e.g. economics, management, psychology, statistics or information science), solid research methodology training and experience (e.g. z-Tree, SAS, SPSS), and strong writing skills.
The successful candidate will collaborate on ongoing research projects, grant writing, manuscript preparation and teaching.
The position is for 1 year (12 months) and can be renewed for up to six years. Starting date is April 2010 or soon after. The yearly salary is about 38,000 Euros.
