The Department of Management and Information Systems at Wayne State University’s School of Business Administration is recruiting to fill a tenure-track position in Strategy at the level of Assistant, Associate or possibly full Professor. Candidates at the Associate and Full levels are of particular interest. Requirements for the position include a Ph.D. in Management or a related field and the ability to contribute to the research and teaching missions of the Department and School. Candidates at the Associate level or above must have a record of publishing in top tier management journals, provide evidence of teaching excellence, and provide leadership for our doctoral program by chairing dissertations and teaching a seminar in organizational theory. Ability to teach electives in the MBA program is also preferred. Candidates at the Assistant level must demonstrate the potential to publish research in top tier management journals as well as contribute to the teaching missions of the Department and School.
