Dear Erwin,
US Patent Office has a website titled
PAIR (Patent Assignment and Information Retrieval). If you have the patent number (Application # or Publication# or the Granted Patent Number#) with you, you can enter it in the corresponding text box, access the filewrapper and download the transaction history of the patent. The transaction history might include the information you are looking for.
Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Mukundhan

BPS-NET@AOMLISTS.PACE.EDU Dear Colleagues,
I wonder if it is possible to find out whether a patent has been licensed and/or applied in a commercial product? Is there a source for that?
Erwin.
