Dear BPS Members,
At this year's Academy of Management Meetings in San Antonio, we will again be using conference tracks. These tracks create opportunities for attendees to interact across related sessions, foster the development of research communities, and minimize time conflicts across sessions. For these reasons, sessions for a given track are scheduled within a particular room during the main BPS conference on Monday and Tuesday. The tracks and chairs for 2011 are as follows: (1) Alliance and Networks (Kyle Mayer), (2) Competitive Heterogeneity (Tunji Adegbesan), (3) Corporate Governance (Trevis Certo), (4) Firm Boundaries and Corporate Strategy (Janet Bercovitz), (5) Industry Dynamics (Scott Rockart), (6) Innovation and Strategic Renewal (Annette Ranft), and (7) Strategy Process and Change (Sarah Kaplan). A guide to this year's conference tracks and the associated sessions and papers can be found on the BPS website (http://www.bpsdiv.org/) to help you navigate the program and plan your schedules for the meetings.
