Dear everyone,
As you may know, the American Strategic Management Society (SMS) will be
hosting their 31st Annual International Conference in Miami, Florida
(6-9th November 2011) with a theme of “Strategies for a Multi-Polar
World: National Institutions and Global Competition” .
The Strategy Practice Interest Group (IG) of SMS would like to encourage
you to submit your best paper proposals (7-pages, inclusive of
Reference, Tables and Figures) before the 24th February 2011 deadline.
Please consult our website at:

updated IG statement and a list of indicative research questions that
our members seek to answer.
We welcome high quality submissions from Academics (As), Business
Practitioners (Bs) and Consultants (Cs) or even co-production of
knowledge between combinations of As Bs and Cs. We want to let members
know that our IG also welcomes submissions from practitioners and
consultants dealing with the key challenges, issues and unsolved
problems facing the work of strategy, strategizing and strategic
management. One key fundamental requirement in particular is that we ask
such submissions be of a high quality demonstrating clear thinking, good
structure, help advance our understanding of complex issues, and that
the proposal is substantiated by sources / references.
