    Thank you in advance.

    Dear Professor Paik:

I would consider 'Uniqlo', for it reflects the recession in Japan and how the owner used the environmental threat as an opportunity.

    Sincerely,

I have used the following case:

"Takahiko Naraki, the Three Million Yen Entrepreneur"

The case was prepared by Jason Inch, under the direction of Eric Morse. It is from Morse & Mitchell (2006). Cases in entrepreneurship: The venture creation process (pages 12-17).

    Best, Jeff

    Hi, Yong.

I used the Tamago-Ya case (Shinya Fushimi, Stanford Univ, HBSP GS-69, 9/9/07).  It is about bento (lunch boxes), and I found some good videos on YouTube to complement it.  It worked well for me in last year's "Global Leadership - Asia" course (part of our MBA core curriculum).  I plan to use it again this year.

Please let me know any readings that you might have that I could use with it.

    Thanks.

Hi. I would recommend the following:

Inamori Kazuo: Kyocera's founder (HBS case)
Son Masayoshi: CEO of Softbank Japan (HBR article)
Jinnai Ryouchi: Founder of Promise (HBS case)- although Promise is now an associated company of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp.

I would also very much recommend Daiso (100 Yen chain store) and its  founder Yano Hirotake, if there is any case.

    With best wishes,
