My apologies for any cross-postings. The following provides information about an upcoming opening in Strategy and Business Administration at Louisiana State University in Shreveport.
Requirements:
Louisiana State University in Shreveport, a comprehensive urban AACSB-International accredited school located in a growing metropolitan area, invites applications for a position as an Assistant or Associate Professor in Strategy and Business Policy. The expected starting date is August 2012.
We seek applicants with a Ph.D., D.B.A. (or A.B.D) in Strategic Management / Business Policy from an AACSB International-accredited school. Candidates with a background in health care administration are especially encouraged to apply. Experience in teaching via the case method is also desirable.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach, conduct research and publish, provide student advising, participate in program development and assessment, and contribute to university service and business outreach activities. Specifically, the individual selected for this position will be expected to teach strategic management at the undergraduate level during both the spring and fall semesters, as well as one course during the summer semester (for additional compensation). The successful candidate will also teach a graduate course in health care strategic management in the fall online and an undergraduate management elective in the spring.
