    Greetings,

    We would like to invite you to join a very timely caucus on ?Beyond learning
    from rare events: How to regulate the irregular?? at this year?s AoM in San
    Antonio. The time and venue are: Monday, August 15 from 3-4:30 pm at Hilton
    Palacio del Rio (La Vista South).

    The organisers are Chengwei Liu (Warwick Business School) and David Maslach
    (Ivey School of Business). The caucus will be focusing on three cases:

    1. The recent Financial Crisis.
    2. The Fukushima Nuclear Accident.
    3. The Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.

    We are pleased to have Peter Madsen (BYU) and Shellwyn Weston (NYU, former
    VP at Goldman Sachs) as discussants. We are aiming to have a very intimate
