Full-time, tenure-eligible faculty position in Corporate Strategy to begin August 16, 2012.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ithaca College School of Business invites applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible Assistant Professor in Corporate Strategy to begin August 16, 2012.
Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and MBA courses in Strategic Management/Business Policy; other management courses may be possible depending on departmental needs and faculty interest. Teaching excellence, scholarly productivity, student advising, course assessment, and service to the Department of Management, School of Business, Ithaca College, and the profession are expected.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. in Strategy from an AACSB-accredited program or closely related field with appropriate scholarly research to establish or maintain AACSB academic qualification (AQ) is required. ABD candidates with teaching experience and scholarly productivity may be considered. Evidence of having achieved excellence in classroom teaching for junior/senior/MBA-level college courses is expected. Preference will be given to candidates with recent publications in refereed journals, familiarity with Assurance of Learning course assessment processes, management-related work experience, and research in and/or experience with sustainable business practices.
