Call for Chapter Proposals
Second Edition of the Handbook of Research Methods on Trust
Fergus Lyon, Guido Möllering and Mark Saunders have started the process of preparing the second edition of the Handbook of Research Methods on Trust to be published by Edward Elgar in 2014. This is an opportunity to contribute chapters on topics and themes not covered in the first edition. The editors look for proposals both from potential contributors and general suggestions from readers. Please consult the first edition's Table of Contents (available at: http://www.e-elgar.com/bookentry_main.lasso?id=13697) or, ideally, the book itself before sending your proposal. Note typical chapters in this book are relatively short, based on personal experience with a particular method, and intended to give other researchers a brief introduction and assessment of the method's value for trust research. The proposal should consist of a working title, abstract (around 200-500 words), and author names and contact details. Clearly state which gap the chapter is supposed to fill. It is possible to propose a chapter you would like to write yourself or a chapter that you think somebody might be able to contribute. In the latter case, provide the name and email address so the editors can contact the potential contributor. The reason for this open call is to make sure the second edition closes some gaps of the first edition and captures also the most recent methodological developments in trust research. Contact: Fergus Lyon at f.lyon@mdx.ac.uk by 15 February 2013.
