FACULTY POSITION IN MANAGEMENT
The Department of Management at the University of Georgia seeks qualified
applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in Strategic Management
beginning August 2013. The position is subject to final approval by the
University of Georgia and the Board of Regents of the State of Georgia.
We seek individuals with strong records and the potential for outstanding
scholarly accomplishment to contribute to our talented and growing
strategic management group. The successful applicant will be able to
teach at all levels, undergraduate, MBA and Ph.D. and work well in a
collegial and interdisciplinary department. At a minimum, candidates
should be on track to complete their Ph.D. in management by the time of
appointment, have demonstrated potential to publish in top journals, and
have demonstrated competence in teaching. Applicants should send a vita
and teaching evaluations and should arrange for 4 letters of
recommendation.
The Department of Management is one of seven academic departments within
the Terry College of Business. The faculty of the Department, in Strategy
and O.B. include Scott Graffin, Jerayr Haleblian, Christy Shropshire, Mike
Pfarrer, Allen Amason, Jason Colquitt, Daniel Feldman, Robert Vandenberg,
Laura Little, Marie Mitchell, and Jessica Rodell. Clinical faculty and
faculty in operations include Rich Daniels, John Blackstone, Karen
