Assistant / Associate Professor in Strategic Management
The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University is seeking applications for an advanced Assistant or Associate position in our Strategy and Business Economics group to begin August 2014. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in strategic management or closely related field from an AACSB accredited university. We seek candidates who have an active program of research and teaching experience in strategic management and who will perform well in the classroom at the MBA and executive MBA levels. Candidates should have strong training in empirical methodology, like econometrics, and the ability to publish in top strategy journals. Preference will be given to given to more experienced candidates and to candidates with research interests in related areas such as entrepreneurship and / or health care.
Owen is dedicated exclusively to graduate management education and offers a daytime MBA with approximately 400 full-time students, an Executive MBA program, and masters programs in finance, accounting, and health care management. Vanderbilt University is an internationally recognized research university with a 330-acre campus located 1.5 miles from downtown Nashville.
