PRACTICE THEME COMMITTEE

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: WEB MANAGER/LISTSERV MODERATOR

Web Manager and ListServ Moderator needed.

The Practice Theme Committee (PTC) of the Academy of Management is looking for a Web Manager to assist with, and be part of the PTC's growth. The PTC is a strategic AOM committee whose purpose is to engage and foster active interactions between the academy and the world of practice. The Web Manager will be responsible for the following:

- Update and develop the existing AOM PTC website. Hands-on experience required.
- Maintain the website.
- Offer and lead ideas and innovations for the AOM PTC website.
- Other such duties as negotiated with the PTC chair.

In return you will be part of a vibrant, growing community of scholars and practitioners seeking to make an impact in terms of how scholars and practitioners interact and engage with each other.

The PTC also seeks a ListServ Moderator, who will be responsible for the following. This could be the same person as the Web Manager or a different one.

The ListServ Moderator will: 
- assist in the establishment of a ListServ for the PTC.
- moderate messages posted to the list in accordance with AOM ListServ policy.

Our ListServ Moderator/Web Manager will be an important part of the team and will assist in developing our website to enable interaction and collaboration between members and the broader AOM community. They will also moderate the listserv through the AOM portal. The PTC is not aligned to any one division or interest group, but seeks to engage the wider AOM community in promoting the application of scholarly knowledge.
