The Department of Management at the University of Georgia seeks qualified
applicants for a position in Strategic Management. The position will be
filled at the rank of Professor and the successful candidate will hold the
Nalley Distinguished Chair in Entrepreneurship. The position is subject to
final approval by the University of Georgia and the Board of Regents of the
State of Georgia.
We seek individuals with outstanding records of scholarly accomplishment,
who can contribute and provide leadership to our goal of national
prominence. Applicants in all areas of strategic management, international
management and entrepreneurship are encouraged to apply. However, a strong
publication record in leading journals such AMJ, AMR, SMJ and ASQ is
essential. The position involves teaching at all levels, Ph.D., MBA and
undergraduate, mentoring of junior faculty and Ph.D. students, as well as
working collaboratively in a collegial and interdisciplinary department.
At a minimum, candidates should possess a Ph.D. in management or related
discipline and a record of scholarly and instructional excellence
commensurate with appointment at the rank of professor. Applicants should
send a vita and teaching evaluations and should arrange for 4 letters of
recommendation.
