    The College of Business Administration at the University of Central Oklahoma has an opening for a tenure track position in entrepreneurship/strategic management at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2012. Preference will be given to candidates who have a background in 1) Entrepreneurship and 2) Strategic Management. Position involves teaching entrepreneurship and other management courses at the undergraduate and MBA levels, scholarly research resulting in publication, and service to both the University and greater Edmond community.

     

    The Management Department houses 11 full-time faculty members, and offers majors in General Business, Human Resource Management, Management, and Professional Golf Management. The incumbent will work with the Department and College to develop and grow an Entrepreneurship program.

     

    The College of Business Administration currently has 77 full-time faculty and 54 part-time faculty in 6 academic departments. The College offers majors in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Insurance, Legal Studies, Operations Management, Management and Marketing enrolling almost 3,300 undergraduate majors. In addition the College serves nearly 275 graduate students in its MBA program. The faculty of the College are committed to offering a learning centered educational experience through professional quality programs that are experiential, ethically driven, globally sensitive and technologically relevant.
