    I like Essentials of Strategic Management, 2nd Edition  by Hill and Jones from Southwestern/Cengage. I also use Harvard cases and a simulation.

    I will be interested in seeing your results.

    Hitt,Ireland,Hoskisson. But I think the choice of book may depends on our teaching style. In the past I have also used Hill & Jones, and Dess, Lumplin & Eisner before I was able to make my own decision about the book.

    I am publishing a new text this Spring with Kendall-Hunt "Strategic Management Using Ideas In Action" ISBN: 978-0-7575-7224-1. It is very innovative specially because it uses a process for creating strategic planning strategy formation, implementation, and evaluation. Test runs that I have made have been very successful.     I use "Learning with Cases," Maufette-Leenders, Erskine, & Leenders, out of the Ivey School, Western Ontario, as the toolbook to help students deal better with cases.

    For text I use locally prepared handouts at present, derived from short student research papers.
