Dear Paul - and others,
I teach about five sections each year [perhaps half of the sections] of
our undergraduate Business Policy (strategic Management) course at Morgan
State University. In my course I require that everyone complete a group
research project. These projects may be either a conventional academic
type paper or to research and write a teaching case about a real
organization, ideally using field research. (When I teach the graduate
course, my requirement is the same.) This produces some interesting
cases, some of which are presentable at case conferences and some are
published.
