Position Description:
The Department of Management at the Kogod School of Business invites applications and nominations for The George and Maureen Collins Chaired Professorship in Strategy and Consulting with the appointment to begin Fall semester 2008. The appointment is subject to final budgetary approval. Rank: Associate or Full Professor (with tenure); Salary: competitive; Term:chaired position is for a five-year term, renewable;
Position Requirements:
Qualifications include: Ph.D. in appropriate field of Management (Strategic Management with a supporting focus on Consulting); academic and business background that would allow the individual to teach graduate and undergraduate strategic management and consulting; outstanding teaching at all levels; demonstrated commitment to high-quality research; demonstrated ability to assume a leadership role in developing strategic management and consulting programs and relationships with the business community; and demonstrated ability to work with other faculty in developing joint research projects; and to provide thought leadership in the strategic management and consulting areas.
