    The Management and Organization Department at the Michael G. Foster School of Business, University of Washington invites applications from qualified candidates for a full-time tenure-track position in Strategy beginning in September, 2013.  Rank is at the Assistant level and we have a particular preference for applicants at the advanced Assistant Professor rank. A PhD is required. We seek candidates who have an active program of research and teaching in strategy and who have the potential to perform well in graduate teaching. Salary is extremely competitive. Applications must be received no later than October 1, 2012. 

     

    The Foster School of Business is well known for its MBA program, as well as undergraduate, PhD and Executive programs. Faculty engage in teaching, research and service. The Foster School recently moved into its new home Paccar Hall, a 135,000 square feet state-of-the-art classroom and faculty office building.  Full time tenure track faculty members include Bruce Avolio, Jeff Barden, Greg Bigley, Warren Boeker, Xiao-Ping Chen, Emily Cox, Ryan Fehr, Morela Hernandez, Charles Hill, Vandra Huber, Tom Jones, Michael Johnson, Suresh Kotha, Tom Lee, Terry Mitchell, Scott Reynolds, Sonali Shah, David Sirmon, Kevin Steensma and Elizabeth Umphress.
