    Folks,

      

    I am writing to let you know that Ivey's PhD program is accepting applications for the Business, Economics and Public Policy stream.  The Ph.D. program in Business, Economics and Public Policy is designed to train students to conduct cutting-edge research at the nexus of managerial economics, political economy and business strategy.

     

    Faculty members in the group are actively pursuing research in areas such as regulation, energy and environment, stakeholder management, non-market strategy, political and regulatory risk, and industrial development in emerging economies. Faculty research is regularly published in the top strategy and economics journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, AEJ: Applied Economics, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Law, Economics and Organization, Journal of Risk and Uncertainty, and Strategic Management Journal.

     

    In reviewing applications, we look for those students that are academically ambitious and creative, who are likely to generate excellent research. Admission criteria include excellent GPAs in Master or Bachelor programs and standardized tests scores above the 85th percentile for the GMAT or GRE. Please inform any students that you think are a good fit for Ivey's program, and encourage them to apply.

    The Ivey PhD program offers a competitive funding package and merit-based scholarships are available as a supplement to this package for those students applying to the Business, Economics, and Public Policy stream.
