9:00 am – 10:00 am: Multi-methods in M&A panel Everyone is welcome!
If you are interested in the antecedents, integration processes and consequences of mergers and acquisitions and would like to learn more about state-of-the-art methods in M&A research, please plan to attend our interactive Multi-methods in M&A panel on Sunday, September 17th, from 9:00 – to 10:00 am. The panelists will examine new approaches to M&A research, examine the types of problems that can be addressed using these methods and discuss interesting problems in the M&A space that currently lack appropriate methods in an effort to allow our field to gain new insights on well-studied issues and to ask new questions.
10:00 – 12:00: Roundtable workshop--Invited proposals and working papers only
In the roundtable workshop, several M&A scholars will discuss research proposals or working papers in small groups. Leading M&A researchers will read the papers and proposals prior to the session and come with specific comments for the participants. Doctoral students and junior faculty are especially encouraged to apply.
