    The Department of Management in the Trulaske College of Business at the University of Missouri (MU) invites applicants to apply for the position of Visiting Professor/Instructor in Strategic Management. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Ph.D. degree in a related area (preferred) or a master's degree in a related area with extensive work experience in related areas. ABD candidates within one year of completing their Ph.D. degrees will also be considered. Applicants must be available to start teaching undergraduate strategic management classes on campus by August 21, 2017. Teaching load and salary are competitive and negotiable. Candidates with active research streams are preferred and will be expected to work with faculty and doctoral students on research.

     

    Key skills sought include expertise in leading edge strategic management research, proven college level teaching ability; currency in strategic management domains; familiarity with learning management systems for grade management and reporting; and collegiality in service roles. Expertise in econometrics methods is also desired.

     

    The Trulaske College of Business consists of about 65 full-time faculty members who serve approximately 5,000 undergraduates, 285 master's students, and 35 doctoral students. The Department of Management consists of 12 tenure-track faculty members and 10 full-time teaching faculty who share a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. The department includes full-time faculty with expertise in strategy, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, human resources, operations management, management information systems, business law, and business communications. More information can be found at http://business.missouri.edu.
