The Management Area of the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo invites applications for one or two full-time, academic year, tenure-track faculty positions in the primary area of Strategic Management. Rank is open, but an appointment at the Associate Professor level is preferred. Both rank and salary are commensurate with experience. Starting date is September 17, 2007. Interest and ability to teach both undergraduate and graduate (MBA) level classes is desirable.
The candidate must have completed a doctorate or equivalent degree in Business or a closely related field from an AACSB or equivalent accredited institution. Applicants must demonstrate a strong teaching and research record, or potential, and currency in professional field. Additional required qualifications are excellent oral and written communication skills and successful experience with diverse populations.
