Hiring Question

    Hello All,

Trying to be more efficient, here's a quick question:  With most positions posted to this ListServ require a PhD  or is AQ (Academically Qualified), I wanted to inquire if any of your schools hire a PQ (Professionally Qualified) for a tenure track or long-term contract professor position in the International Strategic Management area.  If your university does hire PQ for tenure track positions, please respond accordingly.  If your school currently does not offer long-term teaching contracts to PQ professors, but is forward thinking and following the new guidelines for AACSB, please let me know this as well.

With an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and studies in China, 5 years of experience teaching in AACSB accredited undergrad and MBA programs, and over a decade of consulting work living in China and SE Asia with both small and large companies such as Best Buy and Taylor Corporation, I enjoy sharing these experiences of International Strategy with students to prepare them for the global economy.

Thanks for your consideration and I look forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,

    Rodney Hiel

    Managing Director
