    Dear,

Please distribute the following message within the network:

Singapore Management University is seeking to hire a driven post-doctoral researcher with a proven interest and track record in publishing in top management journals. Candidates can be considered as long as they hold a doctoral degree or will obtain theirs in the next six months. The position would be initially for one year and could potentially be extended to a second year if both parties would choose to do so.

The ideal candidate would be interested in the fields of innovation and sustainability. Specifically, the candidate would be hired under a research grant obtained by Dean Gerry George and Assistant Professor Simon Schillebeeckx to advance research on innovation in the broad agricultural sector around topics such as foods, feeds, biofuels, and water. These topics fit within the Grand Challenges agenda proposed by George and colleagues (2016) in their final AMJ editorial and aligns with the strategic objectives of SMU to develop a knowledge hub in this emerging space.

The successful candidate should be based in Singapore or be willing to relocate and should be able and willing to travel to surrounding countries for field studies and case-based research. We have a preference for researchers experienced in qualitative methods as much work in this nascent field will rely on interviews and observation.

Candidates should send a two-page resume, a one page cover letter, and one or two writing examples (of previously published or unpublished work) to simon@smu.edu.sg  before 1st of July 2017. Any questions with regards to this position can be sent to the same address.

    Sincerely,
    Gerry George & Simon Schillebeeckx
