INNOVATION IN MANAGEMENT: THE CUTTING EDGE IN AN EPOCH OF GLOBAL COLLABORATION
May 21-22, 2009 - Poznan, Poland
The 4th International Innovation in Management Conference "The Cutting Edge of Business in an Epoch of Global Collaboration" is organized by the Poznan University College of Business and Foreign Languages in cooperation with the Innovative Management Institute, the Global Management Institute, the Canadian-Polish Management Institute, the Human Resource Ambassador of the Academy of Management for Poland, the ING Bank, and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce.
Brief proposals are invited, as well as full papers, for presentation in topical sessions, panel presentations, symposium format panels, and asynchronous online poster presentations with interactive asynchronous discussion. SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE BY FEBRUARY 20, 2009, we will respond within a few days of your submission, through an agile review and decision process. That is we will have a rolling review and acceptance/rejection procedure. All accepted presentations and papers will be published as either long abstracts or full papers in an impressive PROCEEDINGS BOOK. Additionally we will have a special issue of the Global Management Journal for best papers from the conference.
We are inviting scholars and practitioners to submit papers, roundtable discussion proposals, and posters for presentations related to the conference theme of cooperating globally. The topics include all business disciplines, business education, and management information systems.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION (All submissions are refereed):
• Electronic submissions are required in either PDF or Word format. E-mail your abstract, full paper, panel or roundtable proposal to the Conference Chairs at imconference@pwsbijo.pl and wankelc@stjohns.edu by January 20, 2009.
• Abstracts may be from 100 to 600 words in length. Full papers should be a maximum of 10,000 words including references and exhibits (an exhibit should be counted as 250 words).
• Submissions should include: A separate title page which clearly indicates the name(s) of the presenting author(s) and other co-author(s), affiliation(s), complete mailing address(es), phone numbers and email address(es) and the title of the paper; and up to four key words that describe the paper. Though not required, providing your mobile phone number would be appreciated given the problematic aspects of contacting academics in their offices at times.
• The text of the full paper, abstract or proposal must include the title, but should not include the name(s) of the author(s) as papers will be blind reviewed.
• Special scheduling requests (dates or times) must be made at time of paper submission.
